Found this on the web the other day, it is one of a series of adverts for a leading English school in Brazil, showing what can happen if people can't communicate (suggesting the importance of speaking English). Even if you do not speak Portuguese, I think you will get the general idea.

Similar idea here Feb 8, 2010

Thank you for sharing, Paul. It was very funny, especially the parts in which the actors forgot they knew Portuguese and answered to what the people were saying

We have a similar ad here in Portugal, featuring a well-known gigolo who “comforted” a lot of female tourists in the Algarve for years. The hint is: if you don’t want to talk English like him, come to X school. He also did an ad for an ice cream brand some years ago.

I think no-one will understand what he says (I have trouble myself), but here it is:

Language school:

Ice cream:

Some things he says:
“Thank you very nice”
“6 o´clock at the esplanade” (from the Portuguese “esplanade”, a restaurant terrace)
"Everybody get brown!" (Everybody gets tanned)
It’s beef of cake (It’s a piece of cake)
