New characters | May 6, 2009 |
Rebekka, thank you very much for your comment. I will post a new strip today. I wish I had more time, I have so many ideas and the feedback has been so incredibly positive… Natalia, you read Mox’s mind about the pet! Although it will not be a cat. CAT usage will appear soon too. I really like the idea of an "ultimate evil character"; I think it would fit very well. He will probably be born in the following weeks. Kudos(z) for you and thank you for all the feedback!
Great Alejandro! | Jun 2, 2009 |
We have all been there and done that and waited six months for them to pay the bill for our efforts. Keep up the good work!
Excellent comic! Put it on rss right away. Can't wait to follow more of Mox's adventures! Keep up the great work! -d

Your strips are just too true and a good respite in the middle of a tough assignment. Keep the good ideas flowing, I really enjoyed this. Christine

if you haven't done it yet, let Mox explain why it is difficult to compete against transient translators that don't pay all the taxes or buy, not pirate, the expensive software

Mox: the new Dilbert? | Jun 2, 2009 |
Alejandro Moreno-Ramos wrote: Dear colleagues, I would like to share with you my new comic strip. It tells the misadventures of a young translator called Mox. Two PhDs, six languages... and he hardly earns the minimum wage. Almost all "adventures" are based on mistakes I made over the last decade. The result is a strip full of clichés. However, I hope you will enjoy it. You may find the strip at: http://mox.ingenierotraductor.com Constructive criticism is welcome! [Subject edited by staff or moderator 2009-05-01 13:06 GMT] I loved the "just one minute" strip! Many times you find clues for the right word in the unexpected And I love all characters: Calvo, Mox, girlfriend and Pam! Even the pet!

Yes, this is great! The art style is simple but really brings everything togheter. I loved the strip about all the crazy forms we are required to fill...
I shared some of them on my facebook profile (I have friends who are also colleagues), hope you don't mind some publicity

Great reflection of real life circumstances, and I bet there are some that you wouldn't make a comic out of because no one would believe it.

Great job, Alejandro. I loved it. I especially liked the ones about the Evil PM! Ha-ha, it's so true! Those forms... I guess we've all been through that sometime.
