अंग्रेज़ी article (a) का हिंदी में भिन्न-भिन्न प्रकार से अनुवाद किया जाता है। ऐसे में मन में प्रश्न उठता है कि इसका सही, प्रामाणिक और सटीक अनुवाद क्या होना चाहिए। कृपया नीचे के अंग्रेज़ी वाक्य और इसके भिन्न अनुवादों पर नज़र दौड़ाएं:

1. उन्होंने एक पत्र भेजा है।
2. उन्होंने कोई पत्र भेजा है।
3. उन्होंने पत्र भेजा है।

In my opinion, उन्होंने एक पत्र भेजा है is the translation that better suits the original meaning.
I think उन्होंने कोई पत्र भेजा है conveys a meaning where the letter is "a certain letter". Similarly, उन्होंने पत्र भेजा है is not accurate because it omits the "a" of the source text.
