| Definition / notes: | The owners of casinos and other gambling operations in North America have always used the term "gaming" instead of gambling. It's a euphemism. More recently, gaming industry has been used to mean video games, but I have never seen the term to encompass BOTH betting and electronic games. It's as if the 2 usages are in parallel universes. But if you google "gaming stocks" the first 10 items are all about gambling, not video gaming. My guess is in your context, they mean gambling (could you use a euphemism in Polish?) Otherwise I think you wil have to inquire of your client for the list of companies in which the Fund invests to see if all of them are gambling. |
