After graduating from the University of Leeds with an MA in Applied Translation Studies, achieving distinction and excellent feedback on my work, I founded Ruth Hill Translations, where I provide high-quality French-English and Spanish-English translation, revision, and proofreading services. I specialise in literary and medical translation, but I also have experience working in a range of other areas, including the non-profit sector, tourism, marketing, religion, and education.

My attention to detail and thorough mastery of the English language enable me to deliver highly accurate and idiomatic translations, while my creative flair serves me well in translating literary texts – evidenced by a prize I won for translating extracts from a song, play, and novel.
