Introduction: After being born and raised in Punjab, India, I moved to Canada in 2004, and am now a Canadian citizen. Hindi and Punjabi are my native languages. I have a great passion to work with Hindi, Punjabi, English, and Sanskrit. Literature is my favorite field, and I love to do translation, proof reading, editing, and interpretation in Hindi, Punjabi, and English.

Education: M.A, M.Phil, and PhD in Hindi

Translation and Interpretation Experience: I have translated many literary articles (English to Hindi/Punjabi, Hindi to Punjabi and vice versa) and poetry (from Punjabi to Hindi and vice versa). I have also served as an interpreter for students and clients in many other fields.

Other Experience: I worked as a college lecturer and taught graduate and Post graduate levels for more than 18 years in a renowned college (D.A.V. College, Jalandhar, Punjab, India) situated in Northern India. I am a certified teacher and am working with the Lethbridge School District 51 as a substitute teacher in Alberta, Canada. I am a creative writer, and my poems and other literary work has been published in literary magazines. I am currently teaching Hindi to English-speaking students in Canada.

Specialization: I specialize in literary, medical, and general fields of translation.
