Hi everybody,
I just want to share a report I made on my visit to the Frankfurt Book Fair on Thursday.
I went there as a professional translator (for German to Portuguese and English to Portuguese) with some book translation experience but a focus on legal and business translation.
The Frankfurt Book Fair has a Translators' Center (Übersetzer-Zentrum) for networking, with many interesting events within the fair's event schedule.

Hi Fabio,
Thanks a lot for sharing your experience at the Frankfurt Book Fair. Your report and the links made up for the fact that I couldn't go there myself this year!

Your blog is really professional

Hi Fabio,
I've been reading your blog now and then for the past few months and it's really professional. I found out quite a few things I didn't know about before
I've never been to the Frankfurt Book Fair. The translators' centre you mention and my love of reading and books are all good reasons for me to try and make it some time though.

The interview with Chris Durban that you linked on your blog was especially interesting and useful viewing for any translator who wants to get off the low pay treadmill.
