Italian term

Apparecchi di intrattenimento automatici a premio in natura

Italian to English Law/Patents Games / Video Games / Gaming / Casino
Hi all!

I am translating a legal text on the regulation for the practice of games, contests, lotteries, lotto, games of chance (gambling) and skill, and betting. I have come accross a category of games that I do not fully understand - Apparecchi di intrattenimento automatici a premio in natura. I am not sure what this means...but my attempt is that it is a device that automatically / randomly selects prizes to those who win?? My other attempt is that this is an automatic device that selects prizes??

Help would very much be appreciated!

Thanks,

Lee

Thanks so much! I really appreciate your help!
Dr Lofthouse Jun 11, 2011:
Hi Lee,
the correct phrase is 'prize in kind' - like 'payment in kind', no money is received....
Lee Anthony Sharratt (asker) Jun 11, 2011:
Hi! I have come to the conclusion that the translation would be 'Automatic entertainment appliances with prizes of any kind'. Could anyone confirm if thay agree with this or do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Lee
