With regard to the difference between "μεσοσταθμικός" and "μέσος":
The term "Μεσοσταθμικός" or "μέσος σταθμικός" is translated "weighted average". Το "μέσος" (e.g. "μέσο κόμιστρο") is translated "average" and is the outcome of a different calculation.
