Médecine
Médecine : cardiologie
left ventricular ischemia
Cardiomyopathie ischemique avec espisodes d'IVG iteratifs sure NSTEMI, repetitifs
(Understood from previous context that IVG = Left Ventricular Ischemia and NSTEMI = Non ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction)
What I am wondering is about the 'iteratifs' and 'repetitifs' in this phrase. Looks like repetition to me, if you'll pardon the pun(!). Does 'iteratif' sometimes mean 'chronic'? I searched 'iteratif' in the glossaries in a medical context (albeit a completely different one) and found an entry in which it 'iteratif' is translated as 'multiple' rather than 'repeated' (as in Multiple Sleep Latency Test) so I think perhaps 'multiple' is what is meant here, but I need to be sure - also I wondered if 'multiple' in such a context is tantamount to 'chronic' as presumably something that is chronic has multiple occurrences. Obviously I am trying to avoid using 'repeated' twice. Can anyone throw any light on this for me? Thanks in advance for any helpful suggestions.

: I am wondering whether "repeated" is good here?//Repeated is perfectly good, no two ways about it.
