This is a heading in a list of human ressources in a validation plan.
The first two columns identify names and job titles "mois N" cosists of months and percentages against each person's name
eg Joe Bloggs : Jan 50%, Feb 80%, May 80%, June 20%.
Any help very gratefully recieved.

I think "mrodenstei" has hit the nail on the head here; surely, the 'N' must be referring to the percentage figure (maybe it means something specific, or maybe it just means 'numerical value' etc.)
I agree, of course, that 'mois N' does often mean 'a certain reference month from which others will be counted', but since here the months are actually given, that interpretation would make no sense to me in this context.

Month "N"
"n" is preferred by mathematical people to represent "number", in this case "name" of month. I prefer to place it in brackets for clarity.

: Yes, usually used to indicate current month, with previous month being 'month N-1', etc.
