Did you try a KudoZ term search? I'm pretty sure this has come up before, and I probably answered, but can't now remember what I said!

I tink this is about the nearest equivalent, though do note that pan-head screws come in a variety of shapes, and 'poelier' is only one of several.

disagree Tony M : There is a proper technical term for this type of screw in EN, I can see no justification for simply keeping the FR term.

working from Catharine's second ref. Poirier screw (which seems like ducking the translation issue); but maybe it's a less complicated one, simply Mushroom head screw (bolt).
