French term

barrette

French to English Tech/Engineering Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.) pharmaceutical bottle
I have a scale drawing of a glass pharmaceutical bottle and on the bottom there are 4 little crescent-shaped marks labelled "barrettes" and an annoying partially illegible bit saying "(ILLEGIBLE) N° DU MOULE CODOFIC ET (ILLEGIBLE) PAR BARRETTES"

This got posted accidentally as a medical question instead of a technical/engineering question, so I'm posting it again in the right section.

mark is a possibility.

See the site below about making glass bottles.

"Many other bottle bases have what are referred to as makers marks. These are usually some type of embossed letters, symbols, and/or numbers which were molded onto the base of the bottle for a variety of glassmaker determined reasons. "
