: Unfortunately, the only source for the expression you suggest is the Vaud one. Not a generally used expression in English, as "dependent" tends to be used in relation to family members, rather than employee status.

I'm pretty sure it's "activité [...] dépendante," but I found the reference in 1.2 to "l’employeur" and "un tiers" more telling.
