French term
dépôt du prix en cautionnement
French to English
Law/Patents
Law: Patents, Trademarks, Copyright
This is found in a clause relating to pre-emption rights in the event that one party wishes to transfer its share in the ownership of a patent to a third party. If one party wishes to transfer its share, it must notify the other party and join to such notice " un justificatif du dépôt du prix en cautionnement par ledit tiers".
I'm not sure of the exact meaning - does it simply mean that the third party has to deposit the purchase price with a third party?
