French term

achèvement de l'actif

French to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s) Memorandum on procedure / Research and development costs

I know achèvement and achever means to complete / finish but would you say completion of the asset (s)?

TIA

completion of the asset

NOT "realisation", which would mean disposal to realise the cash value (if any!).
The development costs must be capitalised ('immobilisés' = recorded as a non-current asset) provided the project can be successfully completed. If it can't be finished, it's not an asset and the costs have to be expensed.

realisation of assets

From what I understand, the realisation of assets can be a condition for the conclusion of a contract.

Realisation of assets

Achevement means to wind up / complete...but we say realisation of an asset during the winding-up (closing down) of a compand where-in all assets are realised or sold off to pay off the liabilities.
