If you think of "plan de travail" meaning counter-top, worktop, etc. as for kitchens, then you may find that "top" alone works here. As for what precedes it for "encastré", then whatever you would use for that, especially if supported by an image from your client.

: No, that describes something else entirely — a more up-market solution, where the basin is actually an integral part of the worktop — not the case here./ Yes, that is the all-important difference! Even explained in your ref.
