As I wrote in the discussion entry yesterday (Wednesday, 08 February 2012 at about 12.50 pm (GMT +3)), in answer to your comment that "the items listed are all roofworks", no I don't agree.
This text is in the Construction field. The context we have at hand is that of a "lot" or plot. Therefore, we are dealing with the construction terrain or area, not the roof only. Secondly, there are 3 points given, each preceded by a hyphen. So each one can refer to different aspects of the construction work. Under the circumstances, the translation "the parts which are above water" for émergents fits very well. In addition "les rives" which translates to "shore/bank" further strengthens the point.
