Hi all -
I am translating a French technical document (France) where "attaque" is used not only as an adjective "attaque perchorique" but also as a noun "attaque" - as a paragraph heading.
See attached.
I am wondering if anyone can suggest how to best translate this word.
I've gone through the various scenarios in ProZ and none seem to fit.
A Google search for "perchoric etching" for example only yields 10 results...
Thanks much!

etching/etch
I've just used this term to describe a test to reveal grain flow by Keller etch or etching (attaque Keller). The process involved bathing the damaged metal in a corrosive chemical (etchant). For an adjuster's report.
