French term

tuyaux d’échappement de chaudière

French to English Science Chemistry; Chem Sci/Eng for a group active in vinyl compounds (legal text containing chemical terminology)
"Les activités commerciales d’ABC Company sont concentrées aujourd’hui dans les Countries. Sur le marché des Countries, ABC est le fournisseur privilégié pour les canalisations dans les serres agricoles. En Country, en dehors des tubes de commodités, la filiale dispose d’un accord de coopération avec la société XYZ pour la production des canalisations pour la production des tuyaux d’échappement de chaudière en polypropilène."

Many thanks for your help.

Bashiqa Nov 15, 2011:
@Nigel I'm obviously not quite up to date. You are right they can be used for condensation boilers where the flue gas is at a lower temperature. I am aware that echappement is exhaust but the more usual use is for ducting. Presumably the person asking the question knows which bit we are talking about. In the meantime, I'll settle for a steel conduit any day of the week.
Nigel Wheatley Nov 15, 2011:
since polypropylene became cheap enough! polypropylene is very common for the external portion of domestic boiler flues in the UK, because it's cheaper than a long steel tube and is resistant to the British climate.

@ Nigel and Martin Since when have flues or exhaust pipes been made from plastic????

boiler flues

a 'tuyau d'échappement' in this sense is *normally* a tube which allows waste gas to escape. In English, for a boiler, this is called a "flue". It is impossible to be sure of the correct translation without more context
