I'm translating a blog about the work of an interior artist. "DA" is clearly something to do with design, I'm just not sure exactly what:
"Spécialiste du trompe-l'oeil, -..... La première fois que j'ai rencontré XXXX, il était 3h du matin. 30 minutes plus tard, il proposait de faire la DA de mon nouvel appartement. Comme ça, pour rien, peut-être parce qu'il avait ri à une demie blague."

Hi Claire. This is just a hunch but I suspect that DA may stand for décoration et aménagement, meaning decoration and fitting. I think the most natural equivalent in English would be "he offered to decorate and furnish my new apartment". I'd be interested to see whether others agree.
