French term

axes rotulés

French to English Tech/Engineering Aerospace / Aviation / Space dispositif de suspension
Hello again,

"Ces deux bielles latérales sont articulées chacune, à leur extrémité aval, sur le palonnier par exemple par des axes rotulés."

pivoting axes, swivelling axes, or should I use something else here?

Thank you

ball joints

"rotulé" means a type of linkage (liaison mécanique, see reference below) of type "rotule à doigt" (4 contact points), pictures:

This is in English a spherical joint, ball-and-socket joint, implemented as a balll joint in mechanical devices

The most common type of ball joint has a shaft on it, but depending on the way they are mounted and to keep the English wording, you could use "pins/rods with ball joints"

swivelling pins

Axe is often used to refer to a pin, a rod or an axle.
Axis is just one translation for this word but this has rather a vectorial sense indicating direction.

neutral chris collister : more likely to be a ball joint. These are quite common on jet engine mountings
