fun to play

the game is FUN TO PLAY.....I mean, let's say something one would really say about a GAME in English..

convivial games are for old ladies' tea parties!!
Peer comment(s):

agree Dr Sue Levy (X) : this is certainly what is meant here :-)

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "I remember that working out how much money each of us had was a bore to me when playing Classic Monopoly, so I think that "user-friendly" could conceivably be what was meant here - I could have done with a calculator when I was a kid, but we didn't have one back then in the early '70s. Having said that, I think this is a more probable meaning which fits the context better, so it's what I used. Many thanks."

great for parties

I suspect they mean that the game is great when lots of people get together. Not much fun to have around when you're on your own... although I suppose you won't lose then!
Peer comment(s):

agree Eskarina : yes, it brings people together

Thanks - although in view of the extra info provided, "user friendly" may well be what's meant.
