É o instrumentista que se assenta na posição esquerda na primeira fila, em cada um dos naipes. Cada naipe tem duas filas de instrumentistas. O Principal é o que fica na primeira fila, à esquerda.

I know that co-principal = co-solista but there is a difference between Associate Principal and Co-principal.
