English to Portuguese Law/Patents Law: Contract(s) Contract

The Client irrevocably and exclusively authorizes the Administrator to act on behalf of the Client in the matter of the Claim, to present the Claim to the authority which holds the Estate, and at the discretion of the Administrator to appoint a lawyer or solicitor (hereinafter called ‘the lawyer’) of the Administrator’s choosing to carry out all the necessary legal work for the receipt and distribution of the benefits of the Estate, should such a Claim be successful. If a lawyer is appointed then the Client further agrees to provide the lawyer on demand with the authorization in writing (1) to act in this matter on behalf of the Client as well as provide all necessary personal identification and other relevant paperwork the lawyer requires to facilitate the Claim, and (2) to pay the lawyer or authorize the lawyer to deduct from the Client’s funds to pay the appropriate proportion of the legal costs for the execution of the Claim, and any disbursements and to pay the Administrator’s time at current rates, materials and expenses.
