The subject is glass production. I'm translating a table describing the operations carried out on Customers' furnaaces. One of the interventions is 压改浮 and it has been executed on a 350 tons/day coal combustion sheet glass furnace. I know that 浮 stands for float glass, but I cannot understand what the word means.
