Burial ceremony
This is use in one of typical Tibetan burial cremonies. I translated it as **heavenly burial altar**, maybe there is an English equivalence.
*heavenly burial** May sound cruel to some people of peaceful mind. In this burial ceremony, the body is dismantled and cut into small pieces, after which, smoke rises to attract eagles to enjoy a feast of human flesh.
I hope my colleagues can offer more or better ideas on this term.
Thanks you in advance!

charnel ground
or durtro or sky burial platform
The procedure takes place on a large flat rock long used for the purpose. The charnel ground (durtro) is always higher than its surroundings. It may be very simple, consisting only of the flat rock, or it may be more elaborate, incorporating temples and stupa (chorten in Tibetan).
