Filtered Water Valve
Most valves are unidirectional!
For water heaters, valve is either used to discharge water or
to control the gas flow in a gas water heater.
I pick 'water' in this case and just call it 'filtered' water valve.
because the word 'filter' also give one the impression its going ONE WAY!
Once the exact application is known, the correct name for the valve can be easily found from many websites.

I am also very curious what type and where a filter is used in a water heater and why a valve for the filter is needed.
For water heaters, valve is either used to discharge water or
