Translating a course on job evaluation for a Quebec client. A table labelled "Les Connaissances" gives examples of "emplois repères" with their codes and job titles. One job, with the code M1469, is listed as "TECH. TÉLÉCOM. RÉS. RÉS. (T2R2)". There is absolutely no context.

Wondering whether "RÉS. RÉS." might mean "réseau résidentiel" but only guessing.

Apparently it's "réseau et réseautique", as found in the PDF provided below (search by job code.)
I'm not sure if there's an officially approved translation, or if the simple word-for-word translation provided above is good enough.

agree philgoddard : I can't find it in your PDF, but I'm sure you're right. I don't think you can say 'networks and networking', though. I'd choose one or the other.

Thanks. It shows up if you search "M1469." I do think they must have put both "réseau" and "réseautique" for a reason, though.

Oops, forgot that part. It should be "Telecommunications Technician, Networks and Networking."/ Not sure what that link is supposed to be? I'm pretty confident about the Canadian link provided up above.
agree Charlie Bavington : although I do think its a telecomms, networks & networking technician as Emmanuella suggested (2nd occurrence in the PDF has a comma after "technicien", reinforcing this belief. Good find, though :-)
