Spanish term

APA

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Environment & Ecology Emissions
Source phrase: (según RD 100/2011 la clasificación correspondiente a los focos es A para la URD, B para Cogeneración, Calderas y APA y C para Reformings.

This is from a document from Spain on the status of their compliance with environmental regulations. In this sentence they are talking about emissions sources. I have been unable to find what APA stands for. I have searched the Real Decreto in question with no luck.

The only thing close I found was Alta Presión A regarding gas lines, but I'm not sure if that's what's being referred to here.

I'm also not sure whether the acronym is English or Spanish because this document has both.

Target audience is USA.

Thanks in advance

Thank you so much, Phil, I lhe mooked it up further and that is indeed the abbreviation for peracetic acid. So obvious now that you said it. Do you want to post it as a term and I can choose as best answer?
philgoddard Oct 27, 2017:
In that case It's presumably ácido peracético.
dianash (asker) Oct 26, 2017:
It is a chemical company that produces hydrogen peroxide, peracetic acid, sulphates and associated products.
Regarding your response, Ellen (thank you), I tend to think that the acronym is Spanish, as most of them are, except when referring to international organizations. It seems like they are referring to a source of the emissions.

What does this site/organisation do?

neutral philgoddard : This seems extremely unlikely, since it's American and this document is from Spain. Based on the context, it's probably some kind of plant or activity.
