Si estás buscando una forma fluida de traducir la frase, creo que esta traducción queda bien aunque tendrías que suponer que se entenderá de cuál aplicación se está hablando. Si prefieres, podrías decir: "where the aplication, which is the object of this project, will be hosted". Es más precisa pero un poco prolongada para mi gusto.
