原文中に改行をしないスペースのタグ「(and)nbsp...」が入っている場合ですが、日本語では単語間にスペースを使用しないので、訳文ではこのタグをどんどん削除していってもいいのでしょうか？　
注：一文の中に紛れ込んでいる場合で、スペースが訳文でも必要な場合は除きます。

初歩的な質問で申し訳ございません。

どなたか至急お助けください。

What software are you using? What format is the source file - .doc, .txt, sdlxliff?

校正の案件で、受け取ったのは.docxのクリーンファイルです。
翻訳者は、CATを使用していないそうです。
なので、校正もWORDです。

As you say, the non-breaking spaces shouldn't be there and are (except for specific cases) pointless in Japanese text.

Therefore I would delete them using Word's find and replace tool to search for "^s" (the code for nbsp) and replace with "". Don't include those quote marks, obviously.
