Aquí se dice cómo se inició el proceso de solicitud de divorcio mediante un escrito de los cónyuges y que dicha solicitud se basa en el artículo 195-A del Código Civil venezolano. 'Lead-up' doesn't look like a natural choice in a divorce context, but (I have heard and seen) used informally in legal and judicial shop talk.
My only problem with 'background' is overlap with the novel, Anglocentric idea of 'background evidence' in criminal law and that, as some Criminal Law Barristers can't seem to grasp, does not overlap with similar fact evidence.
