English term

Gain adjustment

English to Norwegian Tech/Engineering Mechanics / Mech Engineering Paper print corrugation offset mechanics
Topic mechanics:

I have been searching a good choice of word in Norwegian for "gain adjustment".
Does anyone have experience with this term?

(Context/details:
Servo motors can rotate with a constant torque regardless of load fluctuations (within ratings).
In addition, high-speed rotation can be reached at a stretch and quick movements can be handled.
Gain adjustment is an adjustment to achieve the servo motor function and to eliminate error between command pulse and actual rotation.
On a servo, "GAIN" is the numerical value that indicates how much the instruction is tracked. Increasing gain improves response but makes oscillation easier to occur.)

Thank you so much!

Discussion

Per Bergvall Oct 14, 2019:
Justering Is better than innstilling, which nore usually means setting, as in one set value. Nytte... is not appropriate, as this has nothing to to with gain in the usual sense. An alternative term would be sensitivity setting. More gain - more sensitivity - greater risk of oscillation.

Note from asker:
Thank you, this is exactly the answer I was hoping for as this is my first choice! Do you think nyttejustering could be another alternative or not? I got a suggestion for gevinstjustering, too. However I do not believe this would be a correct choice of word.
