For 20 years, I have successfully worked on
translation and interpretation projects for companies in the pharmaceutical,
medical, financial and high-tech fields, in the United States and abroad, as
well as for U.S. and state government agencies. I translate from English into
Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, Montenegrin and Macedonian and from these languages
into English. All translations are edited by qualified, independent editors. My translation experience has
covered the following fields: legal, business, finance, marketing, health care,
medicine, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, clinical trials, technical IFUs and
software/website localization.
I have a Ph.D. in linguistics from the
University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in economics from the
University of Belgrade, Serbia. In the medical field, I have direct work
experience in clinical trial’ data management. I worked for a CRO, and I am
familiar with the procedures and terminology of international clinical trial
studies. In the financial field, I worked on translations of documents for IMF,
World Bank. I can also offer linguistic review and validation of translations.
I am an official OPI/ILR Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian language tester for ACTFL. I
have been teaching Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian at the university level and for
private and government organizations and individuals.
