Explanation: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/armilla The "-ae" desinence (ending) should be a genitive "of the armilla", and as you guess, "armilla" seems to refer to the "annular ligament of the wrist". It could be that this nomenclature is used also for the pelvic bones... (?) "Rotatorium" would mean "that rotates" or something to that effect.
