I think the best thing you do here is to transliterate as I discovered lately that the word "dowry" is not totally accurate see the definition here: https://thelawdictionary.org/dowry
it is the property brought by a woman to her husband upon marriage. I personally prefer the transliteration option but if your document is an official one, where explanations are not preferred you can use dower"
